Diary, 1862.

The two volume diary of James Henry Langhorne contains brief entries concerning his service in Company G of the 4th Virginia Infantry Regiment. The first volume includes a description of Thomas Jonathan Jackson (1824-1863) at Harper's Ferry, W. Va. The second volume contains a brief entry describing life in prison at Fort Delaware, Del., and includes a list of Confederate soldiers captured at the Battle of Kernstown, Va.
